Christmas with the Keller Family! Part 2--Christmas Day

Ok, back to my Christmas with the Keller family. So in the morning when everyone was done with their breakfast, it's time to give out the stockings that Santa prepared the night before!

This was the first thing I pulled out from the stocking -- snowman (head) apple chocolate!

Heee, Santa gave me and Kaitlyn each a snowman head!

After stockings, it's time for real presents!! I was supposed to be the elf (Santa's helper) in distributing the gifts! Heees, fUN!

After everyone got their presents, it's time to OPEN THE PRESENTS!

sorry friends, i know i haven't uploaded the pictures for christmas day. i will do it soon (i hope). anyways this post is to get in time for the last post of 2009 (singapore time) and kinda summary of my year 2009.

in simple terms: 2009, a year of NEW EXPERIENCES.

why new experiences?

1. went to KOREA for summer exchange. cannot believe the tonnes of shopping stuff i bought and the amount that i've spent on clothes and facial stuff.

2. travelled EUROPE, not all of them though. and though the places that i planned to go to before leaving singapore, I DID NOT GO! my goodness, end up i went to countries that i didn't plan to go at all e.g. london, barcelona, budapest AND CANADA! i have NEVER imagined myself in CANADA!

3. went to lectures in a foreign language. it's my first and LAST (i'll make that happen) experience. NEVER will i want to do my courses in a foreign language ANYMORE. everyday convo still ok, so living in a germany is still fine. haha.

4. first time leaving home for sooooooo long.

5. first time realising that boyfriend and family are sooooo important to me. I always thought I can live alone without missing them too much cos has always been so independent with everything. 2009 proved me wrong.

6. FIRST time seeing snow!!! (: (: (:

7. FIRST time building a snowman!! (: (: (:

8. Almost could SKI for the first time in 2009 but got postponed so will make that a first thing in 2010!! (:

9. first time lving with a dog in the same household for more than 1 day. people who know me should know i am scared of anything that is not human. but cos i'm staying with my friend in canada and she has a dog, i live with the dog for the past few days.

10. and a first time feeling the sadness when an animal dies. i know this is sad but 2009 ended for me and the Keller family in a sad way.

Their dog, Georgia, had to be put to sleep just now because she is old (10 years old) and was diagnosed with diabetes. she couldn't control her urine and she puked in the house few times. she also shivered alot yesterday. they discovered her diabetes a bit late and she did not respond to the treatment today. she was all weak and it was a tough decision for the family to decide to put her in a animal emergency hospital or to put her to sleep. and finally, it was decided to put her to sleep. everyone in the family was really sad. for me, i am not a fan of dogs, but after living with her for the past 1 week or so, i felt so sad to hear that she has to be put to sleep. this morning, Georgia was walking around the house and she laid in front of me. she looked sad and tired, i had the urge to pat her but i didn't quite dare to. and the next thing i know, i will never get to see her again. ): i will remember you, Georgia.

Christmas with the Keller Family! Part 1--Christmas Eve

Side track a bit from my trips. I'm in Canada for Christmas break and I flew with my Canadian friend, Justine and is staying with her. For Christmas, we spent it at her Grandparents' place. On Christmas eve, about 3pm, we drove to her grandparents'. It was a 2.5hrs drive and we were greeted by her really warm and welcoming grandparents and aunts and uncles. And here's my Christmas eve with them!

Christmas is just wonderful with the Keller family. This is the first time that I really feel the Christmasy feeling in the air! Everything is soooo different.

#3 Carolling. After dinner, the Keller family started Christmas carolling! And they could harmonize. It's sooo good. I will upload the video soon (: Oh and guess what, they had a grand piano.

Heh heh, I don't have many chances to come so close to a grand piano though. so hee hee. Need to act act a bit. hahahas.

#4 Christmas stockings!

And soon, it was 12am on 25th December and it's time to take the stockings out and wait for Santa to fill them up with gifts!

Justine's, Kaitlyn's (Justine's sister) and my stockings were already prepared before Santa arrives. haha. We had a different Santa. haha.

She's Justine's cousin, Rachel. That bag was really filled with gifts for the stockings.

Look at that! Fully filled stockings! If I'm not wrong, this reindeer stockings belongs to Grandpa.

They are simple gifts like socks, hand cream, magazines etc. But for Grandpa, there was this huge box of Toblerone and loads of sweets in there. Guess he has sweet tooth like me too! hees.

Day 56-59 [26.11.2009-29.11.2009] Budapest trip

This trip was quite a special one since that was the first time I was travelling with only Singaporeans. haha. Travelling with Singaporeans was really quite different. Our focus was on FOOD! haha. Most of my money for this trip was spent on food. It's worth it. (: We only took a walking tour and took photos along the way. But quite an interesting tour. For a start, we had a super ZEN hostel room. There was even a dalai lama picture on the wall but I didn't upload the picture here. mayb Facebook (:

Our first stop was the Central Market Hall where they sell dried goods, food and vegetables and of cos souvenirs! See the dried stuff they selling together with some dolls.

Hungarian speciality--Langos. Taste like you tiao but a flat one. Spread with sour cream and cheese and we added salami to it.

After exploring around, we went to have buffet at SGD$23. It was GOOD! Below is the pastries that I took. Pretty pastries make me happy!

This is their yellow line metro. It's the first metro in the whole Europe (I think).

After the long day, we went into a supermarket and saw this! Mars milk! But guess what, it just tasted like normal chocolate milk.

A brief intro about Budapest. It's in Hungary, in eastern Europe and it was actually formed from two towns/cities--Buda and Pest. And they are now joined by the Chain Bridge.

On the second day, we explored both the Buda and Pest side a bit. First we went to this Cave Church. It's a church in the cave.

And guess what, we bought goose liver to cook! REAL GOOSE LIVER~ we only paid like 2+ SGD per person and got to eat DAMN GOOD goose liver.VERY VERY NICE! But sinful, look at the oil on the pan. we didn't add any oil.

On the third day, we went on the walking tour.

I forgot about the meaning of this statue. But people say that when you rub the knees with both hands and make a wish, your wish will come true~

Tree of love locks! This is where couple but a lock and write their names on the lock and throw the key into the waters connecting Buda and Pest. If they break up one day, they would have to get a locksmith to open the lock. haha.

Put up by chinese couple? Or do they have the same meaning in Hungarian as well? I don't know~

There's a small story behind why I took a photo of this lion statue. This is one of the 4 lions on the 4 corners of the Chain Bridge. According to the owner of the hostel, the designer of the Chain Bridge was very confident of his design and believed that there'd be no flaws in this Chain Bridge. And if ever someone finds a flaw, he would jump down from that bridge. And one day, a small kid pointed out that lions are supposed to have tongues but why doesn't this lion statue has tongue. The designer admitted that it was a flaw but didn't jump from the bridge.

Anyway that semi circle thingy on top actually symbolises a turban worn by the communist leader in the past. And that's our tour guide!

This statue used to be rumoured that students who touched it will do very well in their studies and since don't know when, it had a different saying. It is said that whoever touches the balls of the horse will do very well in their sex life. And the tour guide demonstrated and asked who else wanted to touch it. Everyone was feeling awkward and laughed. Then he promised that if there's no improvement after they have touched it, he will return the money they paid him. So this man climbed and his wife was helping him take photos.

Our last stop of the tour was the Fisherman's Bastion. I don't know what exactly it is but it's sooo pretty! I loved it alot. Below are the pictures from Fisherman's Bastion.

And just before leaving Budapest, Serene and I took the wrong direction tram and ended up at the Nyugati train station. This train station is built by the Eifel company. The same company which built Eifel Tower.

Day 37 [07.11.2009] Bad Reichenhall day trip

Bad Reichenhall is about 2 hours away by train from Munich and it's very famous for bath houses and spas i think. So Justine and I decided to do a day trip to Bad Reichenhall but didn't went to any spa. haha.

Hey all, I'm finally free to update my blog again! Will be separating into trips and things that I do in Munich e.g. Christmas markets! hees. Donno if got time to blog so much anot. anyways, yep shall talk about my trips first!

Day 29-32 [30.10.2009-02.11.2009] Prague trip

We took a night bus (about 9hrs) and reached Prague early in the morning at 5am. Went with Jimin (Korean exchange friend) and she booked a Korean hostel! It was sooo clean and the Koreans were nice! The owner thought I was a Korean when I greeted him with Ahnnyeonghaseyo. haha. I not bad eh~ hahahaha.

After resting for a while, we had breakfast and went out walk walk. And we saw a market place.

Prague is famous for puppets so naturally, there were a lot of shops in the market place selling this kind of puppets! Sadly, I'm not a fan of puppets. hees.

58 more days to Singapore!

I am starting to feel sianx about life here again. Guess all my excitement about gatherings and travel has died down. I'm starting to get sick and tired of thinking of places to go. Nobody asks me on a trip that they plan. ): Plus $$ still stuck in bank draft and I have to live on my remaining amount of cash till 26th Novemeber. So I cannot go too far away places till the 26th.

And I have been getting letters from the bank saying that payment for this that a not successful because my bank currently has no available cash. all stuck in bank draft -.- and because of this, I get fined for each unsuccessful transaction be it by the hostel or the school or insurance cos according to them, it's the administration fees involved in their failed attempt to get my money. THANKS! wasted so much money on the fines. 26th November, please come soon~~~ I know it's 1 more wk. ):

Plus lectures are depressing.

And online shows are the only thing that I look forward to each day.

CONCLUSION: Xue Ting will grow to love to stay in her room waiting for the days to pass and head back to Singapore.

Count down timer already started on my msn nick. I know I shouldn't but I canont help it.

Day 23 [24.10.2009] Salzburg day trip

Decided to go to Salzburg, Austria for a day trip. I LOVED THE CITY!!

A little about Salzburg:

#1 Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was borned in Salzburg and he lived in Salzburg.

#2 Sound of Music was filmed in Salzburg.

=> Quite a cosy small city where you'll see and hear live music performances as well as see horse carriages on the streets. Very traditionally Europe. haha. And I like it (:

Day 18-22 [19.10.2009 - 23.10.2009] First week of school

3 words to describe: HAIX HAIX HAIX

It's so HARD to attend lectures in GERMAN!!
#1 Hard to catch what the lecturers say cos either too fast or too muffled.
#2 I don't know the statistical terms in German.
#3 Their handwritting is slightly different to ours. Their "1" has that slanted stroke before the straight vertical stroke. Their other alphabets also has a curve before the start of the alphabet. haix. can take me quite long to figure out what they are writing.
#4 Lousy technology: no visualizer so whatever the teacher prepared on paper, he needs to copy out on the board. and since their handwritting I can't read, I take very long and it's super tiring to follow the lecture IN GERMAN as well as copy the notes.
#5 So, most of the time I cannot understand what they talking about. The highest level that I can reach is make sense of the stuff they've written on the board.
#6 The tutorial totally don't know how to do. ):

So what have I been doing?
#1 Photocopy the reference book. THANK GOODNESS all are in English. BUT, I had problems finding one of the book in the library and was soooo sad. Until I got my friend from another University to borrow from his University's library.
#2 Translate my notes into English. I'm RE-WRITING everything in English on another book so that I can read in English when it's nearing the exams.
#3 Making a vocabulary book of german statistical terms.
#4 Reading the English reference book.

All these are taking up a lot of my time. I'm like mugging everyday and totally no life. So sad here. I'm more hardworking here than in SG lor. Which is not what it's supposed to be. But no choice. STUDYING HERE IS MAKING ME DEPRESSED.

BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT, I'm still trying to have some life and make my exchange a memorable one. Have been initiating some trips and asking if anyone wants to join, initiating dinner gatherings like prata dinner (: etc.

Guess another thing that is making me not enjoying to the fullest because I don't have a fixed group of friends or friends whom I can show my "siao-siao-ness" to. I guess this can't be help since I've only been here for <1 month. Hope the coming 3 months would be better! (:

p.s. Friends from SG reading this, I miss showing you my craziness!

Oh and I met a group of NTU students here!! YEAH more Singaporeans to speak Singlish with~~ They are really nice and had invited me over for dinner. And their friends are really nice too!! YEAH! More friends. haha.

These are the food that I've made for myself ever since I'm here. Some are nice but some not so. haha.

All of these weren't made by me though. Only the tomato fry egg is made by me while I was at my junior's place. The rest were made by her and her house mate. We had bak kut teh that day!

Fried rice!! NICE!! Cos the mixed vegetables had butter so poured in and fry together and woohoo~~ Super duper nice!!

As days were cold, I thought having tom yam soup would be nice so decided to cook a pot and share it with my friend.

Lunch: Rice + tom yam soup + watch online show! The tom yam soup was REALLY good *double thumbs up* I almost finished a new pot of rice for dinner with the leftover soup. Credit goes to the paste, not my skill. haha

Another fried rice but this time round is prawn fried rice!! Not so nice because it was a bit bland but the prawns were nice. And see, healthy living. Broccoli!

Pasta with my new sauce. There's already meat and carrot cubes in the sauce. All I have to do is heat up the sauce and serve with pasta. NICE! Schmeck gut!

I had the pasta above with this! (ok aLOT again) It's chicken nuggets + fish with broccoli garnish. The fish didn't turn out well in terms of appearance cos I didn't have an oven to bake it. so I had to make it into small pieces and cook it. But overall TASTY! Lecker~

Fried noodles (spaghetti was used cos there's no such thing like the yellow noodles that we're used to here) using some maggi seasoning. Nice! Taste like mee goreng when it's supposed to taste like chinese fried noodles.

Had this seasoned chicken wings with the fried noodles above. (see, ALOT again)

Bought this new winter collection from Ritter Sport chocolate. It has biscuits inside but not the normal biscuit flavour. It's ginger biscuit! Very nice! (at least I loved them except for the fact that it's not dark choc)

Heavy breakfast to start my first day of school right! (:

Wurst (german sausage) + scrambled egg + bread + jam + lettuce

Dinner after first day of class: My 치즈라면!! Cheese + korean instant noodles. try it people, that's what they sell in Korea~

see, I really eat alot for each meal. I WILL be fat when I'm back. haha

Day 18 [19.10.2009] First day of school

Finally the long awaited first day of school.

Since it's at 4pm, had time in the morning and went shopping with friends. Before shopping, it's time for lunch so tried out the Mensa (canteen) food. oh man. what a lousy system of getting food. will try not to step in there unnecessarily. it's way better to come home to cook (:

ps. xueting has fell in love with cooking for herself cos she gets to decide what she wants to eat and more often than not, the "instant" mixes or her own creativity creates tasty food and so she normally overcooks and whoa, she's so gonna be fat when she's back in singapore.

so after shopping, headed to class but couldn't find the classroom. so was late for class and whoa, it's just a small tutorial room where lecture was held. it's called seminar room. my god. statistics cohort small la but also no need so small room right? not only all the tables were taken up, people sat on the floor behind the tables. and i STOOD throughout the lecture for 1.5 HRS!! why didn't I sit on the floor? cos i'm too tiny to see the screen if i sat on the floor.

what's next? my biggest fear: lectures in german. During orientation, I could understand almost everything the teacher had said in german and I thought I would be fine for lectures. HAHA I'm wrong. cos lectures use specific terms. and I totally don't know the german statistic terms. so the whole lecture, no matter how hard I tried to catch the FAST GERMAN lesson, I still catch no ball. and I've decided to follow my initial plan: get the English textbook and mug at my own pace. I may be faster than lecturer oh. haha. I wish~

so, since I have the drive to read textbook now, I better get them tomorrow before my drive fades away. haha.

and people, please help me solve a shopping problem. today, I saw a SUPER DUPER nice coat.

#1 it's beige white colour => easily dirtied
#2 it's 72% polyester => not very warm
#3 uber nice => chic look (it's REALLY PRETTY!!! like REALLLLLYYYY!!!!)
it's 49.90 euros = more than 100 sgd (but this is the cheapest winter coat i've found so it's considered reasonable for winter coat)

should I buy? pretty or warm more important? haha. my canadian friend justine said mayb looking chic does pay off. hahahaha. help! thanks!

Day 14 [15.10.2009] SNOW! 雪! Schnee!

YEAH! it snowed!! Xue Ting sees snow for the first time in her life! She is excited since her name has the word snow (xue) in it. haha.

Walked in the snow today and no matter which direction I'm heading, the snow ALWAYS snow towards my eyes unlike rain. Can someone explain why?

Supposed to see the snow but because it was too fine so can't capture it in the picture but it's SNOWING!

AND, I have a lousy room, the door to the balcony is not air tight (it was supposed to be) and so cold air could come in and condense on the metal door frame and window frame. and make my room colder than it should be. going to complain soon but I doubt they can do anything. -.-

Day 13 [14.10.2009] Opera "Jenufa"

Again, part of the excursion that I've paid for, there's an opera. This is my very first opera. And guess what language is it in? It's in Czech (i don't exactly know what the language is called). And since it is played in Germany, there were GERMAN subtitles.WOW! wonderful! How much could I understand? Err, here and there can understand ba. But really unsure if I've understood the correct thing.

It's about this girl Jenufa. Her boyfriend and her planning to get married. But suddenly one day, the guy decided that he wants to be a soldier. And there was another guy (think is Jenufa's half brother) who likes Jenufa. Then there was crying and stuff cos the wedding going to be cancelled. Then, Jenufa was pregnant and the stepmother hide her in her house and bluffed the world that she went to Austria. Then the baby was born but died and the half brother was still waiting for Jenufa to come back. He realised that she's at the stepmother's house and had given birth to a baby. The stepmother also donno why want to send the dead baby away or something and when she came back after sending the dead baby away, they had some "agitated" conversations and the stepmother fainted / died.

And the curtains came down, so I thought end already cos everyone walking out. When I'm outside, my friends asked,"you're also going back? Not watching already?" Then I realised, that's the interval. Nonetheless, I still went home without finishing the opera. Quite sianx actually. haha. And it was freezing cold~

Day 11 [12.10.2009] Paulaner Brewery tour

As part of the excursion that I've paid for, I get to visit the Paulaner Brewery. Nothing much actually since the guide spoke in German and I couldn't really understand. Took some pictures but not really interesting. Will upload to facebook if I have time ;-)

Bottles being filled. In one day, they can fill 55000 (if i didn't remember wrongly) bottles in 1 hour. And they prepare 2 000 000 (think it's this number or more) litres of beer for Oktoberfest.

Anyway, we had free meal and drinks after the tour and everyone else ordered beer and I ordered soft drink. Think one and only one lor. haix. I just cannot get myself to like alcohol though it's so common here. I tried a bit of my friend's beer though. Still didn't like it.

Day 9 [10.10.2009] Winter Guru vs. Winter Noob

Went out with my canadian friend, Justine., to get winter clothes. She's my winter guru since Canada is always so cold. And I'm the winter noob. ):

We went to Ingolstadt Village for outlet shopping. We took about an hour by train to reach Ingolstadt main train station. At the train station, there was a shuttle service to the Ingolstadt village. Guess what, the shuttle service is a black and classy 6 seater. And the driver wore a suit!! How posh is that. The moment we got into the mini van, we were thinking like omg, it'll be very expensive shopping there since the shuttle service is already so classy.

We arrived at the village about 10 min later and the first few shops we went into are really quite ex. Thank goodness we found Garcia Jeans. Their winter jackets are nice and cheap (comparative to Singapore's winter wear). And guess what, I fit into their XS. Whee~ Shopping here makes me happy! haha. yups, bought 118 Euros worth of winter wear. 3 jackets and 2 long sleeves. Worth it? I think so. haha. Though all these can't be worn in Singapore. -.- ok now I'm missing my shorts and my clothes that I bought from Korea ):

Day 4-15 [05.10.2009-16.10.2009] Orientation

The 100 Euro orientation course had begun and ended. Met a group of friends from China, a girl from Korea, a guy from Japan and a girl from Canada. And in my orientation group, I'm the only Asian. ): Not so happy in the group at first cos like nobody come and talk to me except there's the canadian girl whom I always hang out with. In the second wk of orientation, things were slightly better. Through pair work and group work, I got to know a bit more European friends.

There's an Italian guy who studies Chinese. He's interesting. When there were German words that I did not understand, he checked his german-italian electronic dictionary and explained to me in Chinese. haha. And he calls me 黄雪庭 (full name--surname and name) in a Beijing accent. haha. Guess that's how they address people in China. Full name.

Also, I did a presentation (in German -.-) about Singapore. Oh man, super miss Singapore. I miss the food, the weather, the language (singlish rocks ;-)), the convenience, the cleanliness, the people, the culture, the familiarity of the environment. the safety, and many many more. Guess you must be out of Singapore to appreciate all these. Ok back to the presentation. I prepared a slide about food in Singapore. it's like OMG. I did it at midnight 12am and I was super hungry. I want prata, milk tea, kaya toast, hokkien mee, mee rebus, DIM SUM, EGG TART, bubble tea, and many more!!! I don wanna name them le, if not I more hungry.

yep and school is starting next week. which means very soon I'll be heading back for Singapore!

Day 3 [04.10.2009] "Wonderful"

Cooked myself lunch today! Xue Ting cooks for the first time! Wonderful!

Watched the shows that I should have watched long ago. They are in my com and HDD for ages but didn't had the time to do so in Singapore. And since I do not have Internet ("Wonderful", no internet to distract me), I can only watch the shows and prepare a surprise for dear dear's bdae.

And for the rest of my day, some of you whom I sent email to would have known what "wonderful" things happened to me. :s

Day 2 [03.10.2009] Oktoberfest!

It's the Natonal Day here and the last weekend for Oktoberfest. IT"S CRAZY HERE! The main train station is FLOODED with people. And trains were delayed because there was overload of people. Every train that arrived in Munich were PACKED with people.

Met up with Joseph and his friends and we walked to the Oktoberfest. It's a large fun fair with rides, beer tents and stores selling nuts, chocs, sausages etc. There were also lots of people wearing the traditional Bayern costumes. Beautiful! Here are the pictures:

However, we couldn't get into the beer tents as every one of them were overfilled. So we decided to go to the Hofbräu Haus (HB) at Marienplatz where they served beer and food and there was a live band playing.

After finishing our pork knuckle, we made our way back to Oktoberfest to try our luck for the tents again. And after a long wait and free tickets from a lady, we made it in! We went to the Paulaner tent. Inside the tent:

It's a good experience though I only stayed in the tent for 10 minutes since the Singapore guy didn't had ticket to go in and he was waiting outside the tent for me so we could go back to hostel together (cos I didn't dare to go back alone, people under the influence of alcohol can be scary!)

Day 1 [02.10.2009] Moving in

It's the first day I step foot in Munich!

Took 3 hours of train from Heidelberg to Munich. The luggage were like WAY too heavy for me. Whenever I need to move the luggage up and down the train, I needed others to help me to do it. ): So embarassing! I had to transfer trains at Stuttgart. And I have to PUSH (yes, I PUSHED my luggage instead of PULL cos really no strength) from platform 3 to platform 20! That's like SUPER DUPER long way can. I thought I couldn't make it to the train but luckily I did.

On the train, the aisle were tooooo narrow for my luggage! So paiseh to choke up the aisle. Luckily there was a nice german lady who offered me a seat near the doors. And guess what, the train had some technical faults and delayed for 17 minutes (ok, see how precise Germans are). Finally, I reached the main train station of Munich and luckily the other exchange student from NUS came and fetch me and helped me with the luggage.

My room: not as good as expected but ok~ will have some pictures when I have time to take some.

Then, we went to IKEA to get some necessities for my room e.g. pillows, blankets, curtains, plates, bowls, knifes, chopping board, pan etc. Spent 49.97 Euros!! Expensive, but necessary. ):

Did some groceries at the grocery store below my hostel because the next day (Sat 03.10.2009) is the Germany's National Day and shops will be closed on Saturday and Sunday! Did like 16+ Euros of groceries. After groceries, it was time to unpack and REST! (:

[29.09.2009] Last day in Norway

We only had like 2 hours to visit some more places in the city centre of Oslo. So we quickly visited the Royal Palace and the Nobel Peace Centre where there were exhibitions on the Nobel Peace Prize laurettes. The main exhibition is named "from King to Obama". It's about the similarities between Martin Luther King Jr. and Obama. And I took a picture with President Obama! (will be uploading it to facebook soon)

And we took 2 hr bus to reach Oslo Torp airport and 1hr 25min plane and another 2 hrs bus to Heidelberg. By the time we reach the main train station of Heidelberg, it was already 10pm. Bought MacDonald's 1 Euro Chicken Burger with Chilli Sauce for dinner! My favourite, since it's the only thing with chilli sauce and sweet chilli sauce somemore and IT"S CHEAP!

[28.09.2009] Museums in Norway

Wei Hua had school excursion and we didn't tag along We decided to visit some of the museums since we got the Oslo pass and entrance to museums are free! Wanted to go to other areas in Norway la but it's way too expensive and far so we could only stay in the city centre.

We visited 3 museums VIA BOAT! Visited the Folk Museum, Viking Museum as well as the Fram Museum. Both not very interesting except that there's really huge ships IN the museums. The real Viking was in the museum and the original Fram (aka Polar Ship) which went on the South Pole exploration was in the museum. For the Fram, it was parked at the place and museum was builty OVER it. Cool isn't it?

[27.09.2009] Norway sightseeing

We were supposed to meet Wei Hua at 11.30am at the Oslo Central Station. And in the morning before meeting her, we decided to explore the city centre a bit and walked to the Oslo Opera House. It's an opera house on water! The view was superb (except there was some red machines there). It was about 10-12 deg Celsius and there seem to be a marathon going on.

Thy have the same gantry as Singapore's MRT BUT I heard it's of no use. There's no card, one just need to walk through.

And we met Wei Hua!

After meeting up with Wei Hua, we went to her place to have lunch and decided to go on a Sightseeing boat trip! We had to board the boat from the jetty at the City Hall. For your info, in Norway, there's soo many boats that boats are a form of public transport. There's number on the boats like we have for buses! For Wei Hua, her transport concession includes boat rides! Super cool~~ haha.

By the time we reach Oslo city centre and found our hotel and check in, it was about 7pm. one day was just wasted on the bus and plane.

Upon arrival in the Oslo Torp Airport, we were very dehydrated so thought of getting something to drink. We looked around and decided on orange juice. A carton of 500ml of orange juice cost 18 NOK = about 4+ sgd (IT'S CRAZY!)

After we checked in, the beds were too comfy for us to resist. So we just stayed in the hotel for the rest of the night. haha.

A ________________ Europe adventure

Day 1 25th Sept 2009

I left Singapore crying ALOT. I thought I wouldn't cry since I had travelled so many times. End up when I saw Toinh and David coming down to send me off despite being late for training, I started tearing already. Then I saw ChenYeh, she come to pass me my giap giap only, I also cry. omg. The worst thing was when I was entering the departure hall. super duper cannot hold back my tears while hugging dear dear. So I entered the departure hall still wiping my tears. Inside the departure hall, I still had tears. Onboard plane I called dear dear and I cried AGAIN. Then reach Dubai called dear dear, I cried TOO. aiyo. cannot stand myself. haha

On the plane to Dubai, watched some shows. I watched the Korean movie "My Girlfriend is an Agent" which wasn't out in Singapore yet. Anyway don't watch that cos the climax only at the very very end. In the middle quite sianx but funny here and there. Typical slow korean shows. haha. I had a wonderful inflight meal. Love emirates so much cos they provided warm and delicious food. haha. First time I like the inflight meals. Had honey ginger chicken with rice, cheesecake, fruits, biscuits, orange juice. What a spread! There was even a tea time where tuna croissant and blackforest cake(I think) were served. NICE!!

At Dubai, wasn't very bad. Just that I didn't know where to go. Travelling alone sucks with me being so blur. Luckily still found correct place and could WiFi a bit before boarding plane.

On the plane to Frankfurt, I had the whole row of 3 seats to myself. My legs still felt weird no matter how i position myself to sleep. So end up didn't sleep much. Didn't had much for dinner as well cos they served all creamy stuff plus previous flight had 2 meals somemore.

So I arrived in Frankfurt Airport feeling tired and weak. I was so weak that I couldn't even carry my 25kg luggage onto the baggage trolley. A caucasian LADY helped me. Now I see how small and weak I am -.- What's worse, I had to push the trolley up and down escalators just to get to the train ticket machine. After getting the tickets, I still had to go up and down escalators to reach the train station. So I didn't use the trolley after some point and my goodness, I couldn't even pull my own luggage and hand carry. I pulled for like 2m and stopped to rest and I really felt like crying man.

So finally I reached the train station and guess what I saw--the trains had STEPS! On flat ground I also cannot pull already, how to get the luggages up the steps?! What's better, there was an announcement in GERMAN saying that my train was cancelled and had to take another train from ANOTHER platform to Mannheim and transfer to another train. I was too weak to understand the announcement la. It was a german man beside me who's taking the same train as me who told me about it. So had to call my junior to pick me up at Mannheim and we transfer train together. And as expected, I couldn't carry the luggages up the train den people q-ing behind offered to help. so PAISEH! ):

Reached Mannheim and saw Kityeng, I felt so much relieved. *wanted to cry after going thru all these*

And so, a terrible day 1.

Last 2 Weeks

I went to Jeju from 17th July to 19th July but sorry people, I have no time to upload my Jeju pictures cos crazy Xue Ting took 1000+ photos in 3 days. Have to re-organize the pictures before I can blog about it. Haha. Plus there's so many things for me to do.

Anyway, I think the flu season is really here. I guess 80% of KU Summer Campus students had fallen sick or are sick now. My friends had got the flu virus and now I guess I had caught it from them. Had dry throat the whole day and a little cough. Trying very hard to suppress the fever from even showing signs of it. I know fever is coming cos I feel really tired today. Guess should get ample rest tonight. I hope I can. I am still doing my CSIP Reflection Journal ): Due tomorrow. Oh shit. I have assignments due tml too. haix. sianx~~~

Ok shall stop blogging and finish everything and SLEEP!

Starting the day in a different way

Ok I'm blogging now cos I realised my dear friends are actually reading my blog. haha I thought I was forgotten. So when I check my tagboard and see people tagging, I decided to blog about today (though I have a test tml morning and it's 11pm here and I just went shopping and left a lecture note haven't study)

Today is kinda special. ok slightly special. cos of the..............SOLAR ECLIPSE! haha. When we reach school, we saw a crowd holding some film like thingy looking at the sky so we joined in and they lent us a sheet of film like thingy as well and.............I saw the sun looking like a crescent! So cool~ First time looking at it. Actually I wasn't quite interested about it when my friend told me today at 10.40, there'll be solar eclipse. Then, after seeing the crescent shaped sun, I want to see it go missing. haha. ok but I didn't. But took some photos! haha.

Ok then after school, went shopping and was late for a chatroom participation. haix. think Xue Ting getting from bad to worse ah. haha. but I don't regret cos I bought 2 pairs of new shoes! hee. oh man. I'm sounding like a shopping queen. normally I don't get so many pairs of shoes in such a short period of time. But, one of them was only 8000 won (approx SGD $9). Who can resist such temptation right? hahaha. ok off to study.

haha ok I'm actually supposed to do my assignment and study for my test on Thursday now so that I can go shopping tml (ok shopping again.) haha. but I just can't help it but start checking phone models and prices cos my plan can recontract in Sept!! haha. and here I am, facing many possibilities and don't know which one to choose. haha. please give me suggestions. haha.

Which combi should I choose?

#1 iTouch + current phone

#2 Samsung OMNIA II and no iTouch (cos I guess it serves almost the same functions just that I'm unsure if the iTouch games can be played on OMNIA)

#3 HTC newer phones and no iTouch (and the games thingy also unsure)

#4 iTouch + recontract with a cheaper phone like Sony Ericsson G705 (cos recontract will give me FREE UNLIMITED SMS--that's like SOOOOO impt)

#5 iPhone (I think this is way too ex for me to afford so it's my last choice haha)

ok, haven't say what I need. haha.

I need WiFi cos checking emails has become my favourite pastime.

I want to watch videos on the go.

I want to play fun games like those I played on wangwang's iTouch.

I need Adobe Reader and Microsoft office cos I need to read documents on the go (sometimes) haha. I make myself sound like my 生意做地很大. haha. I realised the importance of the above during this Korea trip. haha.

Raining cats and dogs

It rained the whole day. Not drizzle kind of rain but the real heavy rain. Afternoon was still ok. Could walk to canteen to eat. By the time after lesson, the rain was like super duper heavy. And we had to walk up the stupid slope to reach the hostel. like OMG can. Walking straight road to the mart to buy ready made dinner was already hard. And yes, the slope was HELL.

First, it is steep.

Second, direction of water flow was against my direction.

Third, lousy slope which has alot of holes so equal puddles of water.

Fourth, the puddles of water is so deep that it can cover my ankle = shoes and jeans all wet.

Fifth, there was lightning.

Sixth, I was walking alone after my friend who lived in another dorm reached her dorm like halfway up the slope.

Seventh, I was carrying alot of stuff cos bought some groceries.

Eighth, the rain was so heavy that my umbrella got hole and water dripping on me.

Ninth, my PRECIOUS BOOKS were a little wet cos of the umbrella hole.

Tenth, I couldn't find my key when I reach my place and I was carrying so many things.

HAIX wad a WONDERFUL day.

Just bathed and had dinner and fruits. time to study. 2 tests on Thursday.

Friday 10th July 2009

Today we went to the Korean Folk Village. Took a 1.5 hr train to reach Suwon. There's a shuttle bus to the Korean Folk Village at 1.30 and we reached Suwon only at 1.15pm and need to get lunch. End up we reached the shuttle bus place at 1.35pm and missed it. Had to wait for the next one which was at 2.30pm. HAIX. We can either take public bus which takes 1hr + to reach or the shuttle bus which takes 30 min to reach the Village. End up we waited for the shuttle bus and reached the Village at about 2.50pm.

Walked around the village and took lotsa photos. In the village, there are many different kinds of houses e.g. farmer's house in the different parts/peasant's house in the different parts/manor's house etc. In one of the houses, there was a woman in Hanbok (Korean traditional costume) demonstrating cotton weaving. And in another house, there were 2 men demonstrating bamboo weaving. Also, there was a farmer farming.

Then it was the performances--acrobat on tight rope, acrobats on horses and traditional wedding. The videos are below, more available on Facebook SOON. haha

Since Friday couldn't go to Gyeongbuk gong, we decided to go to Gyeongbuk gung today. Gyeongbuk gong is the oldest palace of the Joseon Dynasty.

We arrived at about 1.30-2pm. The guard changing ceremony (performance) was taking place then. Took a lot of photos cos haven seen Korean palace guards before. haha. Then a Korean came up to us and asked us to do a survey regarding tourist and their interest in Korean culture. There was a token of appreciation for doing the survey. It was a nice Korean style fan (: Picture on Facebook. (:

Finally bought the entrance ticket and we were told that there was a tea ceremony at 3pm. It was held at the inner most part of the palace and we're only at the entrance. And it's 2.45pm. So just chiong to catch the tea ceremony. Luckily we made it in time.

During the tea ceremony there were news channel crew filming. And we realised that day was the first day that they were doing the tea ceremony thingy. Tea brewing procedures were demonstrated. They invited foreigners to follow what the teacher demonstrated and the males could wear the traditional costume! So cute to see the caucasians wear the traditional Korean costume. Then tea and "kueh" were given as refreshments. And they made us foreigners stay back and they re-demonstrated the procedures and we gotta act like we're drinking just for the news to film and they said that we MAY be appearing on the news that night but I came back late so didn't watch the news.

After that, we took a lot of scenic photos and I THINK we went shopping after that. haha. Always ending the day with shopping.

First Friday of the Summer programme

Every week, there's only lessons from Mon to Thur, that means I have long weekend!! So today, we went to the 1st shop Coffee Prince! The real shop where the drama was filmed. I couldn't believe I'm right there drinking Iced Cocoa and eating their cakes! SUPER HAPPY! But...stupid me forgot to bring memory card for camera so I couldn't take any photos. All the photos are with my friends so shall upload when I get it. I LOVE THE SHOW AND I LOVE THAT SHOP! But..the iced cocoa tasted like iced HL chocolate milk except that it was a little thicker.

Then, we went to Ewha Women's University. Not into the university but went to streets at the main gate of the uni to S-H-O-P SHOP! Bought clothes, a pair of shoes, a bag, an Artbox pencil case, a handgel and a 500won (about 60cents) mask.

We wanted to go to Gyeongbukgong but...shopping was just too exciting. It's not just one street. There're many different alleys that sold cheap clothes but almost all the same (like Bugis V liddat lor). Shopped until 4.30 then had lunch. Though I felt hungry at about 2.30 but when I walk out of the shop to find food, I saw another shop which interests me so went in. And the process continues and so by 4.30, my battery really super duper low so bo bian have to go for lunch.

After lunch, it was time for shopping AGAIN! ((= Shopped till about 7 before we left the place and proceed to 63 City! (the place where My Girl was filmed) Can you believe it? Xue Ting went up to 60th storey!!! It was a bit scary but not so scary if I don't look down. Beautiful view of the Hangang River from 60th floor but ya same thing--pictures with my friends.

Hey all who talked to me on MSN, thanks alot for your concern regarding why I am sad here. Haven't got the time to blog cos....I WENT SHOPPING ALOT! (ok la, at least this makes me happy)

I shall have a summary of the events for the past few days (upload photos tonight or when I'm free) since I'm blogging like 45 minute before my first class and I haven't had breakfast, change clothes and apply the skin care products on my face and body. ok stop crapping.

First day 27 June 2009 (Saturday)

Arrived in Incheon Airport at 7.05 (sg time), took bus and cab to reach the dormitory.

Checking in at the dormitory:

Sad thing #1 The dorm is located like up on a hill. The slope up the hill is SUPER STEEP! (I'm so going to get swollen ankle any time soon)

Sad thing #2 We need to PAY for the beddings when it is stated in the booklet that it'll be provided! 20,000 won = 20+ sgd (anyway, the miscommunication was resolved and I got free beddings)

Sad thing #3 I need LAN cable to connect to Internet and...I didn't bring. ($$ fly again)

Sad thing #4 The cupboard is EMPTY! I need hangers!! ($$ again)

Sad thing #5 Table also EMPTY! I'm a person who needs table light to study. ($$ again, thinking if I should air freight my table lamp over. *views from people reading this please.* )

Sad thing #6 I don't have a close friends yet. It's a big transition. Like on 26 June 2009, I had my best interns group and banana they all, but on 27 June 2009, I had no one. This is sad. And it's making me re-think about my Germany SEP. (Can I / Should I withdraw from SEP? I love my comfort zone with my friends ): )

Second day 28 June 2009 (Sunday)

Went out with Cheryl to shop! Myeong-dong! Had a wonderful idea of buying things and sell it online. Went to a bridge that has fountain performance. (Heard this was part of a scene in Boys over Flowers. For those who are crazy over it, I went there~~~ Hee)

Third day 29 June 2009 (Monday)

Collected my student card and opened a bank account. For those who feel rich and want to transfer $$ to me, you're welcome to do so, I'll email you the address and code =p (Xue Ting lacks $$ cos there's SO MANY THINGS TO BUY! ) And, went shopping AGAIN! (:

Shopping is like the only thing that is keeping me here now. And I bought things to sell already. haha. Necklace and art box planner. Will post pictures tonight or email you all. And, I have a Korean roomie~~

Fourth day 30 June 2009 (Tuesday)

Time to prepare for school. Blog tonight or something.

Ulm and Konstanz on 13th June

Official lessons ended on 12th Jun so we had Fri, 13th Jun free. Monica, Beetsma, Emily, Calvin and I decided to go to Bodensee (Lake Constance). Heard it's beautiful. Decided to buy the Badenwuerttemburg Laender ticket which allowed us to travel up to a maximum of 5 in a group to anywhere in Badenwuerttemburg. So we happily happily bought breakfast and the ticket and boarded the 8.04am or 8.14 train(cannot rmb) towards Konstanz. And as we were talking about conductors checking ticket, a conductor came. We happily showed our ticket to him (cos the 1st day in Germany, my frens and I oso bought a group ticket and it went MISSING! and we had to buy another 1. but this time we HAVE the ticket!).

Den he said in german that this ticket only allow us to take trains from 9am onwards and asked us to alight at the nxt stop. Den we were super sian. We hoped and prayed that when the train reach the nxt stop, it'll be 9am already. At 8.38am, the train reached Boeblingen station. We had to alight. And guess wad. We're still in STUTTGART. The same city where we were living in. We're not even out of the city. my god! and thanks to this wonderful machine (tada..the one below)

we just nidda type our starting station and destination station and it'll show u all the different train connections. which station to alight to change to another train and which track the connecting train is leaving from. and wad's more, if u don hav a pen or paper or hp or wadever to take it down, u can PRINT THE INFO OUT!! haha. it's absolutely WONDERFUL when u're lost and like us, suddenly havta alight and not knowing when is the nxt train. so we checked and the nxt train to Konstanz was 10.38am. WAD?! 2hrs wait!! We didn't wan to wait so we decided to take a train to Ulm (quite a nice town too) walked around for an hour and catch another train from Ulm to Radolfzell den another train to Konstanz. Bo bian. though nidda change many times but better den waiting for 2 hrs in STUTTGART. At least we're going to cover another town. haha

that day was a cold day. windy. my strawberry cardigan (red cardigan) was not enuff. so borrowed calvin's thick blue jacket so i'm officially blue berry!! haha

After about an hr of train, we finally reached Ulm. town with the world's tallest cathedral and birth place of Einstein.

after about an hour of exploration of Ulm. we nidda catch the connecting train to Radolfzell.

and we reached Radolfzell. i was shocked by the lok kok signboards at the stations. nv seen such old signboards in my 1 month stay in Germany. Below are pics taken during my few minutes at Radolfzell. cos there's another train to catch b4 I reach Konstanz.

and here I am. KONSTANZ. like after such a long journey i'm finally here. we walked around a bit and decided to take a ferry ride around Bodensee. the ride costed 6 Euros. not cheap. but the view not bad. below are the photos.

there's almost no difference between the sea and the sky!

after the 45min ferry ride, we only hav like an hour or less for the town Konstanz. so did fast shopping. bot some cheap goods. haha and dinner to be eaten on the train and had to wave goodbye to Konstanz. below are the pics taken of the town.

In conclusion, most of my time that day was spent on trains. took like 7 trains in all. and spent so little time at Ulm and Konstanz. Maybe can choose uni in either of these 2 towns and spent my exchange programme time there. Beautiful yea?

From strangers to classmates to gd frens to super duper gd frens. Been thru ups and downs together. Seen each other cry and at times cried for each other. Of cos not forgetting the times we 疯狂大笑 on the streets. Laughing at every small little thing, crapping and cracking stupid lame jokes. And also our characteristic (not weird) conversations. Introducing my 2 super duper 要好的 frenxx: 班娜娜Heng and Toinh Long Long...*applause*

班娜娜Heng: She was my first fren in Nan Hua. And just so nicely, she stays in Bt Batok as well and we could take the same bus to and from school. Just one bus stop away. And I'll always walk to her stop to board the bus together. And she was my classmate for the 4 years in Nan Hua. 8 years of frenship and counting, she really know all my 怪癖and习惯. So she's like the one and only person who can guess correctly which is the thing I like if given a shelf of things. SUPER! 我们对彼此的了解已到了不需要多说，大家也能明白彼此想说什么。 I just need to say "you know you know?" and she will always say "ya I know" and she really do know. I treasure our frenship loads my 超爱演的朋友班娜娜小姐！

Our journey thus far:

Toinh Long Long: We were classmates since Sec 3. Before that I donno him at all. Just saw this 校服皱皱也能当Councillor的boy boy :p. In Sec 3 and Sec 4, we weren't very close. Just know that his bdae is close to mine. And he hates 王仁甫and 5566 and I love them. So this is our common topic. Our common game: 海带拳. After graduating and first 3 months in JC, I decided to ask him to join me in PJ. I also donno why I did that. I wasn't even close to him. And heng heng-ly, we both got the same O-level results and love Maths and so ended up in the same class. So we were closer and again I also donno why, 3 of us just went out together and we became super duper gd! 我们之间的对话有时根本都不需要字。我们只需打个眼神再加上几个Hmmmmm Hmmmm就知道对方在想什么。太神奇了对吗？

Karlsruhe and Forbach on 8th June

After Switzerland, I'm back in Stuttgart again. Decided that we shld go somewhere on Sun. So went to Karlsruhe by 40min train. We din plan anything for Karlsruhe so went there find the tourist information but it was closed. So took a train plan of the area and explored the town(or city) ourselves. (: quite successful hee~~ We are beri li hai de muahaha ;)

Germans travel a lot on bicycles. And their bicycles beri high de. short me nid the kids one i guess.

We first went to University of Karlsruhe to see see. Mayb can consider going there for exchange in 2 yrs time. It's located right beside the Schloss Karlsruhe (Karlsruhe Palace) and the Schloss Garten (Palace's garden).

den we went to hav Black Forest Cake since we are not going to the Black Forest (a place in Germany where we intended to go that day but too far already)

after black forest cake, we saw that one of the train stations is called Forbach(Schwarzwald). and Schwarzwald is the Black Forest!! so Forbach is probably a small town which is near the Black Forest. so so we decided to go to Forbach. omg. 70min train. and that day was sunny and the trains there had no aircon. omg omg. somemore train got so many ppl that day. so 4 of us just slp and slp on our way there.

finally....we reached FORBACH!! this was taken at the train station. nice nice (:

nothing much for us to see in the town on a sun cos all the shops are closed. this church is probably the oni "place of interest" for us other than the stream.

one of the sats, mi, emily, sarah and jane decided to buy a round trip 86 euro (SUUUPEERRR EXXXX!!) to go to Switzerland. It just so happened that it was the 1st day of the UEFA EURO 2008. 1st match: Switzerland vs Czech Republic at 6pm (Germany time)

host family brought me to tu:bingen. went to a boat ride and a castle.

this is the boat that we took. powered my human strength not by engine. tha man will push the stick into the water to move the boat forward. den pull it up again and repeat the process.

there's finally SUN!! donno how to show that there's sun so i took a photo of the sun shining on my face. haha.

this is the train station near my house. the train is called U-bahn.

went to beer garden with a few friends at night. didn't drink alot. only took 2 sips. it's very smooth and fine not like sg beer but still i don like it. not an alcohol person.

Went to Ideas Park on 21/05. In german, it's called Ideen Park. about innovations and innovative sciences. also, we went to a TV show. the innovations presented on the TV show were soooo cool. so clever man~~shld bring this to SG.

that's me eating the 1/2 meter Thuringen. it's a 50cm hot dog cut half den put in bread.

this is a Mercedes Benz car. shaped like a box fish. realise that it does not have windscreen wiper. cos the windscreen made from this material that has lotus effect or sth liddat so water will not stick on the windscreen. also, it has no side mirrors cos the side mirrors will increase resistance and make the car slower. instead, it has 2 "micro" cameras installed on the sides of the car.

look carefully at the pic and u will find a plastic sheet goal keeper. the computer will calculate where the ball will hit and the plastic goal keeper will block the ball. clever rite?

haha, surprised to see me in antarctica? haha. no la. this is an exhibition zone of the ideas park.

this is a special airbag. in the bonnet. it's to prevent the pedestrian who got hit by the car to suffer from serious injuries or even death.

today is the 1st day of official lessons. the teacher brought us to the central city area and showed us the various buildings. the very first pic is the top of Turnforum where we could see the whole of Stuttgart City. Stuttgart is the HQ for Mercedes Benz so thats the sign at the top of this tower. the nxt 2 pics are the views of the city from the top. the 4th is me at the top. you can see the wind is super strong. beri cold. brrr~~~

the nxt 2 pics you see are from a calendar in the book shop. beri cute!! the donald duck head in Mona Lisa and Einstein.
the nxt pic shows the field at Schlossplatz. people are juz sitting on the grass, relaxing . beri different from the life in singapore. this is like the city area and people can just sit there and enjoy the sun. nice. and we took a few pics too. and ya the skies are nice too~~~ sehr schön [means very beautiful]

and the last pic is pic of my dinner. according to host family, that's the traditional german dinner. cold cuts with bread. they eat lighter dinners and tt's gd. wun get fat (i hope) haha. cos here cold den like every 3 hrs hungry. haix. now i'm like typing with my fingers freezing. wooo~~ gtg slp soon. yups finally here. actually still cannot believe that i am here. mayb cos still cannot adapt. the weather here is like quite bad. this morning when we leave the house was like 10.5 deg C den rose to like 13 deg C but still damn cold. the wind blowing on my face were like FREEZING COLD. i cannot have alot of facial expressions. cannot even smile. omg.

ytd went mannheim and heidelberg. beautiful. now cannot put pics yet cos i am using the host family com. when dey give me the password for wireless lan den i can upload pics.

heidelberg. went to hauptstrasse which is like their orchard road. the buildings are beri nice. then went to heidelberg castle. oh man. climbed a steep slope up. damn steep. ankle was quite painful but it was worth it. the scenery was just indescribably beautiful. shall upload pics soon. there was a pharmacy museum in the castle. quite nice too. the souvenirs beri ccute! there was also a brewery where there was a huge beer barrel.

mannheim. went to the mannheim palace. oh man. this is like super duper grand. the dining room and library was like OMG in capital letters. i oso donno how to describe and PHOTO-TAKING WAS NOT ALLOWED. haix. so canot take photos but i bought 2 post cards. hee. shall take photo of that den upload.

den ytd reached host family's house. i live on the 3rd storey of the house. have a room to myself. the boy boy beri cute. but donno eng. haha so i must start speaking in german. his german more pro den me cos he has 3 yrs of speaking german and i only have 1. haix.

today went to do groceries with the wife. fun. haha. and quite different from sg ntuc. haha. now going get lunch den later nidda go sch. take care my frens. (=
